"Wherever you are emotionally on the spiral, you can CHOOSE to move to the ADJACENT POSSIBLE emotion, up one level. It takes relatively little energy, just thought. All you have to do is recall a time when you felt or embodied that next “state” or emotion or awareness. Once you’ve move up one, then you have a teeny tiny bit of MOVEMENT you can do it a second time, recalling that next higher state. Once you’ve done two or more states upwards, you have POSITIVE MOMENTUM and you can keep going.I think this is a way to bootstrap everyone to a higher state of being. I want you to be happy, calm, satisfied, and optimistic, because in that state, you’ll make better decisions.”
