hehe!! Cute little fellow, eh?
That’s a MARMOT!
They are like really huge, chubby gerbils. The first one I ever saw was sprawled, tummy up, atop a car-size boulder. He was catching some belly rays and enjoying his life of leisure. Just behind him was a crystal clear lake in Aspen to which I had just spent the better part of three hours hiking. He lived there year round. They live in some of the most beautiful locations in the world; I’m pretty sure they are all independently wealthy. I cooed and smooched at him, but he barely lifted an eyelid to acknowledge me. Just laid there, rearranging himself a bit now and then to catch the sun better. Definitely snobby. I’ve seen a few since then and they are all the same. Cute, lazy, usually lazing around or heading somewhere to laze around. They live the life! haha. I so much want to pick one up and cuddle and squeeze them!
